Welcome :)

Hello everyone!

It's a pleasure for me to be able to share my blog with you all. First of all, I will introduce myself. My name is Marta and I was born in the city of Valencia in 1992. Nowadays I'm doing my English Studies at the University of Valencia. I've always loved languages and literature. That's why I decided I wanted to study that when I was thirteen.

Little by litte, I will post blog entries related to me (what I like or I find interesting) or just curious matters I hope you enjoy. Thank you very much for reading!

Marta.

  1. Hi Marta!

I am very excited to read your blogs! That's amazing that you've been studying English for so long, do you know any other languages? I've only been studying Spanish for a couple years now, but i really want to keep studying so I can improve and maybe study abroad for a semester!

  2. Hi Niki! Thanks for comment!

Well, I started to study French eight years ago, so I can speak it too! Nowadays, I'm studying Italian at the university. I love languages! I encourage you to keep studying and improving Spanish. Where would you like to go to study abroad?

  3. By the way, I forgot to say that actually I started studying English when I was seven, as every child in Spain. Nowadays, I think they start even sooner!!

  4. That is very interesting! Languages are not as encouraged here which is a bummer. A lot of people quit after they finish their requirements for high school because it's too hard. I really like learning Spanish though, it's fun and i want to study in either Spain or Costa Rica, so when I do knowing the language will be helpful :)

  5. Hi Marta! It is very nice to meet you, I find it so interesting that you are studying so many languages! That is so exciting. I've been studying Spanish for about 5 years now and I absolutely love it. I also plan to study abroad in a couple of years, and then after that I want to learn how to speak French! I also share a passion for languages, I think they are so beautiful. I look forward to reading your blogs!

  6. Hi Marta! Sorry this comment is so late. I find it amazing that you decided what you wanted to do at such a young age--good for you! I hope you are enjoying your time at the University. Have you thought about studying abroad?

  7. Hi Taylor, Hi Megan! I'm so glad you've read my blog!

Taylor, I entirely encourage you to start studying French. It's such a beautiful, exciting language! One of my favourite :)

Well, Megan, absolutely YES: I thought about it. In fact, nowadays we're receiving a lot of information about a grant called ERASMUS (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students). Did you know it? I'd love going to study in England, that's why I'm gonna apply for that grant and the next year I'll be doing my third year of English Studies in that country, I don't know where exactly yet, but... I'm very excited!!! :)
